Lincoln, New Hampshire — January 5, 2015 — Tall Granite Jazz Comes to Jean’s Playhouse
Jean’s Playhouse is proud to present the TALL GRANITE JAZZ BAND, the only 17-piece band north of Texas, on Saturday, January 17 at 7:00 pm! Remember how music used to be, before live bands needed an electrician and a forklift? Back when a piano, some horns, a doghouse bass, and a drummer beating swing-time used to be enough to rouse a room? Grab your two-tone shoes and turn back the clock to the TALL GRANITE JAZZ BAND’s smokin’ horn harmonies and big-band beat! All tickets $20.
If you can’t make in on Saturday, join us on Sunday at the Woodstock Station for an ACOUSTIC JAZZ CONCERT WITH GOURMET BRUNCH. The 6-piece concert at the Woodstock Station Function Room features an Omelet Bar, Waffle Station, and Gourmet Brunch Buffet with Shrimp Cocktail, Eggs Benedict, Bacon, Sausage, Maple-Glazed Salmon, Prime Rib, Roast Turkey, Homefries, Vegetables and Dessert for $25/person. Add unlimited Bloodies, Bellinis, and Mimosas for $10 more!
Next up at Jean’s Playhouse is NORTHERN TRESPASS on Saturday, January 24 at 7:00 pm. This documentary, produced by two new filmmakers from the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Jan Marvel & Michelle Vaughn, will take you on a journey through Québec, Vermont, New London, CT and many towns throughout New Hampshire. The film documents how the controversial Northern Pass power project will affect the White Mountains region of northern New Hampshire. All tickets $7.
Jean’s Playhouse is located at 34 Papermill Drive in Lincoln, adjacent to ongoing construction of the Riverwalk at Loon Mountain site off I-93 Exit 32. Visit JeansPlayhouse.com or call 603-745-2141 for more information.
