For more than 20 years, TIGER has inspired thousands of students throughout New England with engaging, educational touring theatre productions. Beginning this season, NCCA will proudly be part of that legacy moving forward, expanding our commitment to arts education and outreach while ensuring TIGER continues to entertain, educate, and inspire communities across the region.

With Co-Founder and Director, Trish Lindberg, and Managing Director, Pam Irish, back at the helm, NCCA is excited to build on a remarkable tradition while creating exciting new opportunities for students, schools, and audiences for years to come.

Join Ricky on his journey through a typical school day as he embarks on a “quest for calm.” Along the way, he learns helpful tools and calming techniques from his friends, who share how they manage worry, stress, and fear. Through fun, relatable stories and songs, kids discover simple ways to feel more in control and confident – every day.

This critically acclaimed show featuring the story of Michael Stoddard, premieres the 3.0 version for it’s fourth season on the road. This three-person show deals with our nation’s growing drug and alcohol epidemic through the personal journey of an individual recovering from substance use disorders. Playing over 20 different characters in this 55-minute production, the cast helps audiences better understand the devastating consequences faced by both the individual in recovery and the people around them who care.

The production can also be adapted for middle school audiences.

BOOKING FEES

One performance – $950 (up to 300 children)
Two performances – $1,750 (same school or district, same day)
Three performances – $2,600 (same school or district, same day)

*** A standard mileage fee will be calculated from Lincoln, NH, to your school location and is added to the total due.

TIGER is a powerful educational theatre tour that uniquely brings theatre and social issues together into one amazing package. Through its original productions and interactive performances, TIGER offers schools, children, parents, and communities expert tools and strategies to address bullying and social issues, making a meaningful impact on youth
well-being in educational settings.

Based on the anonymous writings and stories of children and youth, TIGER performances incorporate live actors, theatre, dance, and music to engage school audiences from K–12 in a 45-minute assembly-length production. A TIGER performance seeks to transform thoughts, feelings, and behavior to help both children and young adults envision and understand their own power in resolving difficult issues

TIGER has performed at the state level for the New Hampshire Department of Education, regionally for the New England Theatre Conference (NETC), and nationally for the American Alliance for Theatre and Education (AATE). Internationally, TIGER has also performed for the National Drama International Conference at Durham University in Durham, England, the International Festival of Children’s Theatre (ASSITEJ) in Cairo, Egypt, and at the 2013 IDEA World Congress in Paris, France.

CURRICULUM

TIGER provides Integrated Arts lessons for teachers to integrate into their classrooms centered around the social-emotional topics explored in our live performances.

STUDENT WORKSHOPS

Post-performance interactive student workshops offered in classrooms following performances, to reinforce concepts introduced in the productions and to promote social-emotional learning.
