Brian Longwell

Headliner

Brian Longwell has worked for years as a professional comedian at venues in the US and has toured the UK. He combined his corporate background with his comedy experience and now gives “presentations” using an old style overhead projector with stick figure drawings with his parody of a motivational speaker “How to be Successful”.

His unique talent was recognized at the New York Comedy Festival by his inclusion in the Andy Kaufman competition in which he was a finalist, proclaimed a Edinburgh Festival top 10 by the London Times, a finalist in the Boston Comedy festival, regularly headlines at the Comedy Studio in Cambridge, MA, and other venues with his unique act.

On the corporate front, Brian has performed for AT&T, Hewlett Packard, McKinsey, John Hancock, Cushman & Wakefield, and many medium and small size companies.

Ace Aceto

Feature Act

Ace Aceto burst onto the scene during the latter part of the stand-up comedy boom in 1989. His first time on stage, he immediately caught attention by placing second in a local comedy contest. By 1990, Ace was chosen along with 9 other finalists to be filmed for Stand-Up Stand-Up and Short Attention Span Theater for Comedy Central (then known as The Comedy Channel). A Rhode Island native, Ace worked clubs, colleges, and corporate gigs up and down the east coast, before working on stage as Demetrius in Shakespeare’s “A Mid-Summer Night’s Dream”. In 1998 he completed his first starring film role, in the independent feature film “BoxedMan”, capturing attention from casting agents from Disney-Touchstone as well as 20th Century Fox. Ace may look like the boy next door, but he’s also the guy who will place a Kick Me sign on your back when you’re not looking. Whether he’s talking about growing up Catholic, or impersonating RI’s own, Peter & Stewie Griffin, rest assured that Ace Aceto will bring over 30 years of experience in comedy to your next event. Ace has worked with such comic luminaries as Jim Gaffigan, Jeff Dunham, Jim Breuer, Brian Regan, Kevin Nealon, Jon Stewart, Dom Irrera, and Lewis Black. Ace has also opened for musical acts such as Huey Lewis & The News, Luther Vandross, and David Cassidy. Ace continues to be an audience favorite, headlining since 1995 at such clubs as The Comedy Connection, Catch a Rising Star, The Comedy Factory, Joker’s Wild, and Newport Grand Casino. In 2016, Ace was inducted into the Rhode Island Comedy Hall of Fame, joining the likes of Charlie Hall, Frank O’Donnell,Danny Smith, Tom Cotter, & Al Ducharme.

Greg Boggis

Host

Greg Boggis is a seasoned comedian and actor with more than two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. As a stand-up comic, he has performed at hundreds of venues across the Eastern United States and has shared the stage with nationally recognized acts including Dane Cook, Lenny Clarke, Mike Birbiglia, Patrice O’Neal, and Gary Gulman. He has been featured multiple times at the Boston Comedy Festival and also served as a host and crowd warm-up comedian for the internationally broadcast Steve Katsos Show. Greg’s screen credits span film, television, and commercial work. He has appeared in The Boondock Saints, Fever Pitch, and Clear History, in addition to numerous independent films and student productions. His commercial work includes spots for MasterCard, NH Lottery, Staples, Olympia Sports, and many regional brands. He also wrote, co-produced, and starred in the talk show The Boggis Hour on Access Nashua, which recently entered its second season. In addition to his entertainment career, Greg is an active community volunteer. He regularly participates in benefit comedy shows supporting charitable causes, contributes to local food pantry initiatives, and helped establish the first community garden in Milford, NH.

How long is the show?

This show is just under two hours, including one 15-minute intermission.

What is this show rated?

This show is rated PG-13 due to adult language and subject matter.

What time should I arrive?

If you already have tickets, we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before showtime. The auditorium opens 30 minutes before the performance, and our bar opens one hour prior. Lines at the bar can be long, so allow extra time if you plan to purchase food or drinks. Please also keep in mind that Main Street in Lincoln can be busy during peak vacation periods, and local restaurants may have long waits—plan accordingly.

What happens if I arrive late?

If you arrive after the performance has begun, our House Manager or Ushers will help you enter the auditorium at an appropriate time. To minimize disruptions, you may be asked to sit closer to the entrance during Act I. Please note that we do not offer discounts or refunds for late arrivals.

What happens if I purchase tickets, but then something comes up?

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. In special cases, we may be able to exchange your tickets for another performance for a small fee. Alternatively, you may choose to convert your tickets into a donation.

Are there any discounts or special deals for this show?

Military Discount: We offer a 10% discount for current and former members of the military.
NH Residents Night: On Friday nights during our Mainstage Theatre Series, New Hampshire residents can purchase $35 tickets with a valid NH license or second home owner utility bill. These tickets must be purchased in person at the Box Office and are subject to availability.
Group Rates: Discounts are available for groups of 20 or more. Please contact the Box Office for details.

How accessible is this show?

Our parking lot includes 4 handicap spaces and a convenient drop-off location by the front entrance with a ramp.
The lobby, restrooms, and Row F seating are all on the same level—no stairs required.
We offer two wheelchair spaces in Row F, each with a companion seat.
Restrooms include a private, handicap-accessible stall with a locking door.
ADA Listening Devices are available through your smartphone and earbuds, or a Bluetooth-enabled hearing aid. Our staff will be happy to assist you with setup upon arrival.
