Jean’s Playhouse is pleased to announce its largest yearly fundraiser: the Big Band Ball & Winter Auction on Saturday, January 31 at the Indian Head Resort Lakeview Room. This is a semi-formal event, attended by 120 local and regional supporters of Jean’s Playhouse. The event will start at 5:00pm with a Cocktail Hour and Silent Auction and music by local pianist Connie Chesebrough. The Live Auction will commence at 6:30pm, to be followed by dinner served by the Indian Head Resort and a dance with music by the PSU Faculty Jazz Quartet.

This event brings in over $25,000 annually in support of professional theatre arts programming at Jean’s Playhouse. Next up at Jean’s Playhouse is NORTHERN TRESPASS on Saturday, January 24 at 7:00 pm. This documentary, produced by two new filmmakers from the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Jan Marvel & Michelle Vaughn, will take you on a journey through Québec, Vermont, New London, CT and many towns throughout New Hampshire. The film documents how the controversial Northern Pass power project will affect the White Mountains region of northern New Hampshire. All tickets $7.
