Jean’s Playhouse is proud to announce a special deal for New Hampshire residents only! Enjoy great Summer Theatre at Jean’s Playhouse and save big if you are a New Hampshire resident simply by showing your New Hampshire driver’s license; that’s right: just show your driver’s license and you can purchase tickets for any performance of Leading Ladies, Godspell, Avenue Q, Altar Boyz, Steel Magnolias or On Golden Pond– for only FIFTEEN DOLLARS! Summer just got a whole lot better… and what better way to spend time with family and friends this summer than enjoying some great theatre in the White Mountains! You must contact the Box Office in person or over the phone at 603-745-2141 to take advantage of this great deal!
Jean’s Playhouse understands that weather conditions across the White Mountains region can vary drastically, and sometimes Mother Nature is not a theatre fan. We are hardy New Englanders and we go outdoors in all kinds of inclement weather, but we also know our limits.
In the event of a snow or weather emergency, Jean’s Playhouse will consult with local officials and weather services to determine the extent and severity of the storm. The Producing Director will assess if cast members, tech crew and front of house staff can safely get to the theatre for a performance.
The decision to cancel a performance will be made no less than 2 hours prior to curtain. A cancellation message will be placed on both the Box Office and Business Office phone lines, as well as the website.
If the theatre determines that a performance can be held, then the “show must go on!”, and there will be NO REFUNDS on pre-paid tickets, but a liberal exchange policy will be in effect. Patrons may call the Box Office to make any exchange arrangements. Exchange tickets are subject to availability. Patrons will be given 3 options:
1 – Exchange tickets for another performance during the run of a particular show.
2 – Exchange tickets for any other production within that calendar year, no matter the face value of the ticket. (example: A $20 cancelled ticket is equal to a $30 future ticket).
3 – Transfer the ticket purchase toward a Jean’s Playhouse Donation (tax deductible).
