There Is Still Time to Register Your Child for Broadway Bound!

Broadway Bound Camp Show 2Lincoln, New Hampshire – July 11, 2016 – There Is Still Time to Register Your Child for Broadway Bound!

Jean’s Playhouse is hosting their annual Broadway Bound Summer Day Camp from August 8th -12th, 2016 (Monday-Friday, 9 AM – 4 PM) with a final performance on Saturday, August 13th at 2:00 PM. Broadway Bound is a unique and memorable day camp experience that puts your aspiring young performer on the stage instead of in the audience!

Broadway Bound summer camp aims to give your child an unforgettable experience in the theatre by providing tools to develop a strong foundation in performance. By having the professional Papermill Theatre troupe of performers act as counselors and teachers during the camp, Jean’s Playhouse works to develop not only your child’s communication skills, but also their confidence. The students will be divided into teams based on age group and will spring through classes devoted to acting, music, and dance throughout the day. Not only will they have the opportunity to learn to express themselves in an exciting and ever changing art form, but they’ll get a chance to exercise some of their youthful energy! They’ll even get to experience a special showing of the IMPACT Children’s Theatre’s final show, “The Little Mermaid!” Give us a call now to reserve your child’s spot in this exciting week of theatre!

We’re thrilled for camp in August, but why wait a whole month to see some exciting children’s theatre? Jean’s Playhouse is eager to announce the fourth show of our IMPACT Children’s Theatre summer season, Rapunzel! In this exciting play, we see if true love can conquer all when Rapunzel’s beautiful long hair is cut short, her dashing prince goes blind, and both are cast out into the deep, dark wilderness. This daring account will be showing July 11th-16th as the team travels throughout the state. They will be performing at Jean’s Playhouse on Wednesday and Saturday at 10am. The entirety of their schedule and travel locations can be found online at jeansplayhouse.com!

Stay tuned for the rest of our mainstage performances this season! Godspell opens July 14th– 30th; Avenue Q: August 4th-20th; Altar Boyz: August 25th – September 10th; Steel Magnolias: September 22nd – Oct 1st; and the fall season closes out with On Golden Pond: October 6th– 15th.
