Special Guest JAMES MONTGOMERY at Jean’s Playhouse September 6!

JMLincoln, New Hampshire – August 27, 2015 – Special Guest JAMES MONTGOMERY at Jean’s Playhouse September 6!

Blues legend JAMES MONTGOMERY will play with returning guests Bruce Marshall & the Nor’easters at Jean’s Playhouse in Lincoln on Sunday, September 6th! When James Montgomery plays the harmonica, he “brings it on home”. Whether it’s recording with Kid Rock, sitting in with Gregg Allman, or fronting his hot band of thirty years, James Montgomery plays with authority. While growing up in Detroit he learned first-hand from the masters – James Cotton, John Lee Hooker, and Jr. Wells – at the legendary “Chessmate.” He continues to be a vital presence in Blues as one of the most dynamic performers on the scene.

BRUCE MARSHALL and the Nor’Easters play a variety of original music plus a high-energy mix of southern rock, blues, soul, and funk. Bruce has performed with Dire Straits, BB King, and more. Opening the show is another Boston legend: CHARLIE FARREN. Charlie is known for outstanding live solo acoustic performances. He was lead singer and guitarist with The Joe Perry Project and founded Boston band Farrenheit. Join us for a guaranteed good time on Sunday, September 6th at 7:30 pm at Jean’s Playhouse! All tickets $20.

This September at Jean’s Playhouse, enjoy the Broadway style musical production of DAMES AT SEA. Sweet little Ruby has come to New York from faraway Hometown, USA and meets Dick, a sailor and ambitious songwriter who saves the day and Ruby’s doomed Broadway show debut with a smash tune! This delightful old-fashioned tap-happy, U.S. Navy-crazy celebration will keep your toes tappin’ and face smilin’ with memories of the golden era of Busby Berkley movie musicals! DAMES AT SEA will play at Jean’s Playhouse Thursday-Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm from September 3rd to October 3rd (no performances the week of 9/14-9/19), with Wednesday 2:00 pm matinees on September 9th, 23rd and 30th! Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors and $16 for students and children. New Hampshire residents are just $15 on Friday performances!
