Book, Music and Lyrics by Leslie Bricusse

A powerful story of redemption, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol has enchanted audiences the world over with its simple message of holiday joy. Ebenezer Scrooge, that most unrepentant and miserly of fellows, is made to see the light as he survives a merciless battery of revelations by the ghosts of his own life: Jacob Marley and the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future.

In SCROOGE! The Musical, the same cast of characters- Scrooge, Marley, the Cratchits, and more- will grace the stage, but now they will act, sing and dance their way into the hearts of the audience! By combining the core professional, community and youth theatre groups at the center of our mission, we anticipate that a company of professional, local and youth performers and designers will work side-by-side to produce this beloved tale with live musical accompaniment, lush costumes, cinematic projections, and theatrical lighting and effects over the first three weekends in December.
