The Sound of MusicThe Rodgers and Hammerstein Tony Award-winner for Best Musical, The Sound of Music, is based on Maria von Trapp’s autobiography, The Story of the Trapp Family Singers. This family-oriented classic tells the tale of a young would-be nun who charms the hearts of her seven young charges as governess to a widowed naval Captain. Enjoy such musical standards as “My Favorite Things”, “Climb Ev’ry Mountain”, “Do-Re-Mi”, and the title number “Sound of Music”, and watch as Miss Maria gradually captures the heart of the stern Captain von Trapp- and the rest of the audience!
