We know you’ll be watching the Emmy’s on Monday, September 17 … so why not get in the spirit at Jean’s Playhouse with the Eric Mintel Quartet playing TV’s greatest theme songs! Join the acclaimed Eric Mintel Quartet as they play jazz versions of some of the most beloved classic TV themes like I Dream of Jeannie, Mannix, Hawaii 5-0, Mission Impossible and others. Also hear performances of the latest original works by Eric Mintel. The music is sure to get you in the mood for the Emmy’s and is expertly performed by one of the most acclaimed Jazz Quartets in the country, featuring pianist and composer Eric Mintel, Nelson Hill on sax, Dave Mohn on drums and Jack Hegyi on bass.

When playing for five or five thousand, everyday folks or the President of the United States, the Eric Mintel Quartet plays with the same heart. It’s not about what or who you are; it’s about performing music and moving your soul.

Pianist and composer, Eric Mintel has brought his own energetic and lyrical style of jazz to audiences of all ages for more than 20 years. His style has been compared to that of the great Dave Brubeck. Career highlights include two performances by invitation at the White House, several concerts at the Kennedy Center, and a special concert at the United Nations.

Watch some highlights from his Charlie Brown Christmas Show that was at the Playhouse last year:
