Punished for his headstrong and selfish ways, a young prince is turned into a monstrous beast by a mysterious enchantress. The prince’s selfishness has also caused his entire household staff to be transformed as well. The only way they all can be released from the curse is for the Beast to learn to love someone else, while earning their love in return. Enter Belle, an intelligent, beautiful young woman who comes upon the Beast’s castle while trying to rescue her father. With the help of the Beast’s servants, Belle comes to appreciate and love the Beast, but the servants worry if he will learn his lesson soon enough and save them all from eternal doom. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, and nominated for nine Tony Awards, this “Tale as old as time…” is sure to enchant audiences young and old.
