2019 Summer Main Stage Season

Jean’s Playhouse is now on the look out for its 2019 Summer Company!  This includes the following positions:

Main Stage Season

Our Main Stage Season is made up of 5 Broadway Style musicals and plays that run from mid June through mid September. We typically hire a small core team (PSM, TD, Paints, Props, Costume Shop Manager, ME, Sound, and a handful of actors) for the whole season, with the rest of the production and technical staff coming in strictly for the summer months, and designers and actors coming in on a show by show basis.

IMPACT Children’s Theatre Touring Company

Our IMPACT program tours to 8 locations a week with a new 45-60 minute original musical fairytales each week for 6 weeks of the summer. Our production team is with us for 6 weeks, and our actors for 7.

How do I apply?

There are several ways to apply or be seen for our 2019 summer season:

  • NH Professional Theatre Auditions (NHPTA) – You can sign up for the NHPTAs on Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Manchester, NH. To register, please visit https://nhpta.org/
  • New England Theatre Conference Auditions (NETC) – You can apply to get a slot at the NETCs on Saturday through Monday, March 9-11, 2019 in Natick, MA. To register, please visit https://www.netconline.org/
  • Local Auditions – We will be hosting a local call at Jean’s Playhouse in Lincoln, NH on Saturday, March 23 from noon to 6:00 PM.  Please sign up for a time slot by emailing Producing Artistic Director, Joel Mercier, at jmercier@jeansplayhouse.com.
  • Submission – If all else fails, you can submit directly to Producing Artistic Director, Joel Mercier, at jmercier@jeansplayhouse.com. Please include a letter of intent, resume PDF, Headshot, and either links to video or audio clips (for actors) or an online portfolio (for designers/tech staff).
