Lincoln, New Hampshire – September 22, 2014 – Comedy GREATER TUNA playing at Jean’s Playhouse

What do Arles Struvie, Thurston Wheelis, Aunt Pearl, Petey Fisk, Phineas Blye and Rev. Spikes have in common? In Greater Tuna, a hilarious send-up of small town morals and mores, they are all among the upstanding citizens of Tuna, the third smallest town in Texas. The hilarious 2-actor comedy plays October 1-18, Wed-Sat at 7:30 pm except for Special Wednesday 2:00 pm matinees on 10/8 and 10/15. To celebrate the final professional production of the 2014 Season of Laughter, all tickets are a Special Season-End Price: $20!

Up next is a “Day of the Dead” Family Film Festival on November 1. Join us at 6:00 pm for games, contests and food from El Charro Mexican Restaurant. Young Frankenstein (PG) will start at 6:40 pm, followed by The Addams Family (PG-13) at 8:45 pm. Family Film Festival tickets are $10 for all ages- or come in your Halloween costumes for $5 off each ticket!

For the first time ever, Jean’s Playhouse will screen a showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (R) on November 1 at 11:00 pm. A loving couple, a few lost monsters and a sweet transvestite from transsexual Transylvania sing and dance through a campy, sloppy salute to horror movies and sexual liberation. Bring your sense of humor. And some toast. All tickets are $10. No one under the age of 17 will be admitted without an adult.
